Adoption Process

We do not breed to meet demands but rather to further rats as a species as far as temperament and color go and also to work on perfecting our own lines. If put on the waiting list, you may have to wait a good bit of time depending on the time of year and number of rats that are available at the time. We thank you for your patience and understanding ahead of time. If I do not have what you are looking for check out http://ratsofkeona.webs.com/ or http://macrattery.webs.com/

Anyone adopting from us will be required to sign an adoption contract that states you are aware and able to provide adequate care for said rats and that you are agreeing to provide us with updates regarding the temperament and health of your new pets.

Pick-Ups

We try to coordinate pick-ups, a few weekend dates will be announced and adopters will choose from these dates. Under special circumstances weekday pick-ups are allowed.

We have a closed rattery, meaning no strangers( sorry guys!) are allowed into the rat room.I also prefer to keep my address confidential from all those internet crazies out there! For this reason pick-ups usually occur at a local middle school, Redland Middle School located in Derwood,MD on Muncaster Mill Road.

I am willing to travel 30 minutes from my home in Rockville, MD to meet adopters. Any additional time will cost extra for time/gas.

Forever and Ever and Ever
We would like to hear from you every once in a while! Updates are mandatory every 6 months, pictures are nice! Please notfiy us when your beloved ratties die =[ it is help for future lines to know when and why a rat died.  If you can no longer care for any ratties you have purchased from me, contact me ASAP. I will take them back in.

All rats must be adopted in same sex pairs or trios. Single rats will be sold on a case by case basis.
